Daddy conducted the weekly Cub Scouts Meeting for Cameron's den at our house this week. The boys had many things they were to bring to this meeting. First of all, each one discussed an endangered animal, the food chain, a collection of choice and chores they were to do around the house. For example, Cameron talked about the red panda that is endangered, which he went online himself and googled "red panda" (that was his choice of animal!) and found information on it to discuss! He also had chores he did like helping out with Sophie, recycling and picking up toys at the end of the day. The collection he brought to the meeting is his coin collection of quarters from each state that he has been collecting for a couple of years. Each boy had to talk in front of the group about all of these things and then they went to the garage where they built bookends and recipe holders. As always, Charlie took part in the meeting by taking part in the building in the garage! He has all of a sudden taking a liking to tools and building things with daddy, so this was the highlight of the night for him! Cameron has always enjoyed putting things together, so hopefully both boys will have the knack for home improvement and doing projects like their dad!
